What are the hours of the dining room?

Dining room hours are from 11:45 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 6:00-10:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 6:00-11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Hours may be extended if special circumstances arise and advance reservations are made.  Contact the Poinsett Club Receptionist for reservations.

Can I use my computer or cell phone in the Club?

Cell phones, computers or other devices are not allowed in the common areas of the Club.  Texting is also not permitted in any common areas of the Club.  The Club does provide wireless internet service for your convenience in a private room, and telephone booths are provided for your cell phone privacy.

Do I have to wear a coat and tie?

Ties are not ever required, and the wearing of a jacket by gentlemen is only required for dining after 7:00 p.m.  Lunch is considered business casual in all areas of the Club.

Do women have to wear skirts?

No, pant suits and dress pants are allowed in all areas of the Club.

What is business casual attire?

Casual dress for gentlemen shall mean long pants (not jeans), collared shirts, turtlenecks or similar appropriate attire. A jacket is required after 7:00 p.m. Ladies shall dress appropriately.

What time does the bar open?

Bar hours are from 11:45 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and from 5:00-11:15 p.m., excepting that on Friday and Saturday the closing hour is 12:00 midnight.

How often does the menu change?

Seasonally.  The Club also provides daily menu specials and a few signature items that are always offered.

Is there a charge for private rooms?

There is never a charge for Members to book private dining rooms.  Please contact our Private Parties Department for more information about menus, room availability and reservations.

Do you serve breakfast?

We are not open for breakfast regularly, however a private breakfast can be arranged with the Director of Private Parties.

Are children allowed in the dining room?

Yes. Children are welcome at the Club and we offer highchairs, booster seats and a children's menu for your convenience.
